Cashless payment is getting more and more popular in modern parking applications, Scheidt & Bachmann has implemented a direct utilisation of cashless means of payment at entries and exits of car park, where these are used as a means of identification and payment.

Modern operators are also getting aware of the many benefits including the minimising of short-term parker media usage and the associated increases in operational performance. Today, the identification and authorisation media cover the whole range from magnetic strip cards via chip, transponder and barcode cards right up to mobile phones.
   
 

CASHLESS PAYMENT ENVIRONMENT
The environment of cashless means of payment is of a very multi-facet design. On the one hand, there are the classical credit cards with their worldwide distribution and, on the other hand, there is the variety of local, regional and private cards in the form of credit, debit or purse cards.
